Najwa the singer
The beginning
In 1985 Najwa the 19 years old planned to join " Layaly Lobnan "without telling her father and she did it with the help of her sister " Salwa " . Najwa sang ( Mawwal ) it's from (folkloor ) for the first time in her life and she proved that she'll be special and she took the gold medal in that program and because of her great successful her father allowed her to start sing .

Studying music
After the great success Najwa joined " The Arabic Music Institute " for 4 years . She studied the first and second year with ( Zaki Naseef ) and the last two years were with ( Foad Awwad )

The dream came true
Najwa's dream came true when her first album " Ya Habayeb " was released in 1989 .

Najwa's voice makes your heart swoon , it has got the ability to reach deep with in your soul and unlock certain emotions you never knew you had .
Family
Najwa Karam is her real name . She was born in Lebanon - Zahle in Sayedet Alnajah block on the 26th of February 1966 .And her grand grand fathers are from Zabbogha . She is the youngest member of her family . She has got on sister ( Salwa ) and three brothers ( Toni - Joe and Nicola ) .

Studying
Najwa was a very clever student and she had all her studies in Zahle and she graduated with a philosophy certificate . She worked as a teacher for two years then she began to sing .
Najwa's Believes
Najwa believes in saying " Be beautiful and you will see beautiful world ". She also believes that everyone should give without waiting to receive anything in return .

Najwa loves the past and it's very nostalgic about it . She also loves nature and spontaneity . And she hates stinginess . ingratitude and lavishness .
Najwa's style
Najwa likes dresses that suit her personality and what make her feel comfortable . She also likes make - up even everyday and she prefers earthy shades as brown . She always takes care of her hair and she will never think of changing it's color . She don't stick to any diet program because she don't live to eat , she eats to live .
Hobbies
Najwa likes to read and her favorite writer is ( Jubran ) and ( Makhaeel Naeema ) and her favorite book is " Karam Ala Darby " for Mekhaeel . Najwa also likes to watch TV. and historical movies . Further more she won the second place in a rally 1995 so she is one of the car racing lovers .
Dreams
Najwa dreams to sing in " Ba'albak " , to be a mother and to be loved by everyone .
